Helio 62

The Helio 62 is the latest smartphone from Helio Mobile, a Bangladeshi brand under Edison Group, the same company behind Symphony Mobile. Launched in Bangladesh in 2026.

The chipset that powers the phone is MediaTek Helio G81, which is mated to an octa-core CPU (2x A75 2.0GHz + 6x A55 1.7GHz) and Arm Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. Newly released on Android 16.

The 6.78-inch IPS punch-hole display features up to 800 nits brightness, which is sufficient for outdoor use, and has a 120Hz refresh rate with a 255 PPI density, which means it's not quite as crisp as Full HD displays when it comes to text.

Photography is made possible by a 50MP primary sensor along with a 2MP macro lens (F/1.8), and a 32MP front sensor for selfie lovers. Up to 512GB expandable with microSD card.

The most impressive aspect is its battery capacity, which comes with a massive 7000mAh pack that can be fully charged in 1 hour 45 minutes using the supplied 33W charger.

NFC, fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, 3.5mm jack and splash resistance (IP64) ensure the Helio 62 has a ton of usability in a low-cost package. The Helio 62 price in Bangladesh is BDT 18,999 + VAT for the 6GB (+6GB expandable) RAM and 128GB storage variant.
